Q3 2024 Austin Team Retreat is in the books

Our team is quite expansive, spanning across a few countries, but for the U.S. members, we make it a priority to gather every quarter. These retreats allow us to visit our member practices, collaborate closely, and share meals together. While remote work offers numerous benefits, it does come with the downside of missing out on face-to-face interactions with colleagues. These quarterly get-togethers truly make a difference.

This time around, everyone flew into Austin for a three-day retreat, and we jumped straight into visiting offices.

Our first stop was with Dr. Abbasiyan, one of the team’s all-time favorites. He’s been incredibly generous with his feedback on improvements, and his patience with us is something we deeply appreciate.

One of the most unforgettable moments was when we visited Jennifer at Advanced Dental Care of Austin. The moment she realized who Delaney was, she became emotional, tears filled her eyes, and she gave her a heartfelt hug.

Our final visit for the day was at Cedar Park Dental Wellness to see Ayrat. He’s a fountain of knowledge and consistently provides us with invaluable critical feedback.

Everyone stayed at my home so we could enjoy a homemade meal prepared by my wife and start the day together. This was perhaps my favorite part—breaking bread together and strengthening our bonds.

The next day, we kicked things off with a photoshoot before diving into office work. We planned for 2025, discussed our challenges, and explored opportunities for growth. After lunch, I went to see another team favorite, Michael from Austin Dental Co. As always, there was so much to learn from him and implement in our own practices.
